• Children - none under 16 years of age at Wildwood Lodge, well-behaved children are welcome in the cabins.
• Pets - none in the guest's bedroom, well-trained animals are accepted in the cabins, but not in the bedrooms.
• For the comfort of our guests, smoking is limited to outdoors only.
• Fentress County is a "semi-dry" county - the sale of beer is permitted outside the city of Jamestown only - but it is perfectly acceptable for you to bring the beverage of your choice, including wine, should you enjoy this with your dinner.
• Some accommodation is accessible to wheelchairs - though it should be noted that the rooms are not "equipped" for the handicapped. The cabins are wheel chair accessible.
• Wildwood Lodge is on Central Time. Beware - Big South Fork NRRA is on Eastern Time. You will see the time zone delineation on the map of activities in the area.
• Dinner party reservations for 12 or more guests may be arranged for any night in the week.
• Whenever the local restaurant is closed, evening suppers are available by reservation only, 7 days in advance.
• We are open throughout the year - reservations are recommended. If you wish to stay in the winter months, you must book at least 24 hours before arrival to ensure that your accommodation is properly heated.
• Groups are welcome.
• All rates are subject to sales tax of 9.5% and hotel tax of 5%.

Reservations
After 18 years in business, we feel it is necessary to introduce some policies to ensure that we give the best service possible. To our regular visitors and friends, please understand that we are trying to maintain the quality of service and flexibility that you know we offer - we just feel that with the stables and expected growth, we need a firmer reservation policy.

Those of you who have seen Wildwood develop will realize that our expanded facilities increase our running costs. We cannot afford to lose income. A room held on reservation that is later canceled is not necessarily re-let, even in peak periods, when we do have a lot of advanced reservations. Because people know that we would normally be full, they no longer try to make last minute bookings.

Therefore, reservations and deposits are tied to the date of the booking. They cannot be carried forward - they are either refunded to you, if we can re-let, or forfeited by you.

Advanced Reservations - off-peak periods
We want to ensure that those of you, that need specific dates for your visits, are able to get what you want. So we now have formalized advanced reservations to guarantee availability. We ask for a check payment of 1 night when you make the reservation and will assume that you have changed your mind if we do not receive your check within 7 days.

If you cancel at least 30 days, or as advised, before arrival date, we will make a full refund, less a cancellation fee of $30. If you cancel later, we will do our best to rent your room, cabin or stable to return your money, but we cannot guarantee it.

Advanced Reservations - peak periods and groups
During peak periods, as well as the initial deposit of one night, we ask for full prepayment of your stay,
45 days before your arrival date, for the 127 Corridor Sale, weekends in October and group bookings
30 days for the rest of the month of October, holiday weekends and group bookings.

These deposits are non-refundable.

We would much rather welcome you here, than take your money without giving you the pleasure of a stay at Wildwood. We highly value repeat business and know that the experience of Wildwood is the best way to get you to come back.

We are however a small business and cannot afford to lose business due to late cancellations, regardless of the circumstances.

Late reservations - less than 30 days from arrival date
If you prefer to wait, or enjoy spontaneity, please call us, as we may have a room or cabin available. You just might be saving another customer money - if he/she's had to cancel! As a rule, fall, spring, weekends and the 127 Corridor Sale week are our busiest times.

We will require 1 night's deposit if there is still time, otherwise we will obtain authorization on your credit card, which we will process in the case of a « no-show ».
